Update on the monarch, sunday morning before church I saw that it was about to emerge so I took a picture hoping it would wait untill we got home but nope.

So when we got home from church HE had fully emerged!

I love the process the butterfly goes though to get to here. The proccess of a lowly caterpillar to a chrysalis, then breaking free of bo***ge turning into a magnificent butterfly is a great reminder to me of how God can change someone into a new creation. Just like He did me.

Our friend was released and flew away to freedom, but not after letting us hold him for a few moments.

Got some new goodies in yesterday from Jana Alvarado over at Abbie’s Guardian Webs !

We got in some shiro utsuri ispods, and a female regal jumping spider names Ella. And some heart shaped enclosures that she designed herself! These will make a great gift.

Never thought i'd get into spiders, but jumping spiders just aren't like most spiders, they are calm and curious and love to just sit on your hand and look at you with their big eyes.

To be perfectly honest i've never been a fan of spiders. Maybe even a little timid towards them. But i'm a huge believer that fear is taught and alot of people in my family have a fear of spiders.

So instead of just being afraid the rest of my life I decided to learn about them instead and understand them more. And they really are a calm and curious critter and to get bit you would have to try pretty hard.

Like most of us they are just missunderstood. You'll get bit by a random toddler before you get bit by a jumping spider as long as you hold it correctly.

Spiders tend to get a bad rap because they are "scary" or "ugly", but we tend to forget how important they are and how necessary they are for our environment. We often kill them needlessly.

Same goes with people sometimes. We tend to judge others by how they appear. Maybe they look rough, maybe they look scary. Sometimes we like to assume and judge and avoid those people, but truth is, we never gave that person a chance.

Like everyone else perhaps in their life, we just ran from them, or took one look at their outward appearance and avoided them. But in reality, if we took the time to get to know them, they could be the nicest person we ever met. Maybe then we could see their worth. Maybe then we could realise how important they truly are.

No one knows what someone else is going through. We all have hard times and struggle. We don't know if that person you avoided is questioning their life, their worth, their importance. Maybe they just need to be seen. Maybe they just need someone to give them a chance. Maybe you can safe a life from needlessly dying.

This ain't just about spiders. Kindness applies to critters the same as it does with people. Life lessons have many application's.

Make a difference today. Don't choose fear, take the time to learn. Maybe you'll save a life.

That wasn't the direction I inteded to go with this Post but somebody needs to hear it. This page is intended to share God's beautiful creations and to educate people. But I also want to encourage others as well, Expecially since we are a Christian based business.

I hope y'all have a blessed day! Go check out my friends page and etsy!

Our boy turned into a man over night! He is now mature!

I was getting some pictures of him for the post and were he loves being on my hat on my head, I let him get on my hat and then took it off to get some pictures of him and he then realised he was no longer on my head and proceeded to climb over my phone and up my shirt. He's a funny one lol.

I believe he is a Chinese mantis but still not 100%.

Have a blessed day!

This is Tulip, a rose bushes worst enemy. A thorn among roses if you will. Or at least a Tulip among roses, depends on who you ask.

Also one of our new mantids is not happy unless he is on my hat. Unfortunately my face is usually the way to the hat. Reckon he likes the challenge. He is super sweet though. But a leg in the nose or eye is a weird feeling.
