We are hiring! If you love horses and peaceful mountain ranches then we have a job for you. We have two positions available #1 - AM or PM shift work which is basically spoiling horses with a bit of cleaning and light lifting. It's like getting paid to go to the gym. Bonus - horse snuggles and a great view! #2 Assistant Barn manager- Same as job #1 plus assisting our barn manager in HR duties and small fix-it projects. The ability to drive a trailer is a plus. Tractor operation skills are appealing as well both are not a requirement. Shift times are somewhat flexible to meet your schedule needs. PM us for more details on flexible AM and PM shifts. Very thankful for the recent batches of soaking rain. Pastures are beautiful, horses are happy and life is good at the ranch !! Horse Heaven to say the least !!

If you think your horse is experiencing colic symptoms, you should:

*CALL your veterinarian, even if it is just to have a conversation.
*TAKE a temperature, especially BEFORE administering meds.
* REMOVE all feed material.

As we prepare our pasture herd for summer grazing we haven't forgotten those who have chosen one of our awesome stall options. Indoor or outdoor stalls are just as great here at Rudolph Ranch ! Cleaned daily, auto water and covered. All stalled horses are turned out after breakfast to enjoy a large turn out lot for the day.

Great read ! ! Our favorite time of year at Rudolph Ranch is mid June when we finally get to put the pasture horses out to graze. We take great care in slowly adjusting them a few hours a day until we work up to full days of fresh grass before we turn them out for the summer. Careful rotation is key so we don't overgraze the beautiful pastures we are so lucky to enjoy all summer.
