🐈🐕Mailman’s Mutts and AL Spay & Neuter are offering FREE rabies vaccine and spay or neuter surgery for your pet during the month of May. This program is open to individuals that live in Etowah County and a member of your household must be currently enrolled in one or more government assistance programs. The program is limited to 3 pets per household. You can take your pet to their Irondale, AL location or reserve a spot on their transport for $10 for each pet. The scheduled transport for May is on Tuesday, May 19th at the Attalla Sports Complex. They will pick your pet up at 6:00am and return them the following day at 11:00am.

Planned PEThood of Georgia and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue are coming together to deliver a FREE pet vaccine clinic for Gwinnett families on April 25.

Free services for 75 pets include:
✔️ Rabies + Distemper/Parvo (dogs) & FVRCP (cats)

Boom Proof is officially returning for its second year and we cannot wait for our community to see what we have planned.

The Fourth of July brings fireworks, fear and far too many lost animals. For those who may be new, Boom Proof is an outreach event created by Huntsville Animal Services to help prepare pets for the biggest pet loss day of the year. Our goal is to keep your pets safe, identified and protected long before the fireworks begin.

At Boom Proof, we provide free microchipping, collars and ID tags to make sure your pet has the best chance of getting home if they ever get separated from you. Alongside these essential resources, we will also be offering free vaccines, spay and neuter vouchers, pet food and giveaways. Everything is designed to support responsible pet ownership and set families up for success.

This year, we are going even bigger. With several new sponsors joining us, we will have more supplies, more services and more giveaways than ever before. The very best part is that everything is completely free. At its heart, this event is about giving back to our community and helping keep Huntsville’s pets safe.

Boom Proof will take place at the Jaycee Building here in Huntsville on Sunday, June 14 from 2 pm to 6 pm. If your pet could benefit from these services or if you know someone who may need support, please join us.

This year, all registration will be completed online to reduce wait times and help our staff prepare for the crowds. Registration opens on May 14. Keep an eye on this page and join our event group linked below so you do not miss any updates.
