Through donations, we can help with spay & neuter costs, reduce cat colonies with TNR efforts (trap, neuter/spay, and return), and work with our rescue partners to transfer animals that come into Kerman Animal Services to qualified rescue groups where they can help them find forever homes. Your donations are vital to Friends of Kerman Animal Services. Donations go toward basic medical care such as

spay & neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and major medical procedures if the need arises. Your donations are also used to purchase food and supplies our foster homes need to care for animals unable to stay at the holding facility. A New Beginning

The Friends of Kerman Animal Services (FKAS) is a group of volunteers that came together for the purpose of saving and protecting the animals of the Kerman area. We all love animals and feel charged with the responsibility of caring for our four legged friends. In the past, our community was supported by an amazing small animal rescue group. Caring for and relocating kittens (our holding facility has no space for cats or kittens) and assisting with the rescue coordination and transportation of dogs not claimed by their owners. In mid December, they made the hard decision to place their resources elsewhere, and the official Friends of Kerman Animal Services was born.

Our mission is to provide the best possible care for impounded animals during their stay at the Kerman holding facility. We strive to treat each animal medically and behaviorally to the best of our ability, using limited resources. We also strive to promote responsible pet ownership in the community, and a positive relationship among Kerman Animal Services, Kerman PD, city management, and the residents of Kerman.

Fundraising efforts are in full swing, as we need to gather supplies, now that we are our own rescue partner. Please contact us for monetary donations, as well as wanting to purchase any needed supplies. We appreciate any and all that you can do!!
