Did you know you can estimate a kitten’s age just by looking at their teeth?

Baby teeth appear by 2–3 weeks, start falling out around 14–16 weeks, and are fully replaced by adult teeth by about 6 months.

We use this in Shelter Medicine to help determine if kittens are old enough for certain vaccines and now you can use this chart to impress your friends with your kitten-age guessing skills!

That's right, tomorrow is the big day to order take out for a a great kitty cause benefiting Kaleidoscope Health & Rescue and Lava's Lost & Forgotten Felines. Doug's Fish Fry To Go will be right across the street from Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital from 11am-6pm. Stop by to grab lunch or dinner...or both!🐟😸

All of our rescues are good with children, cats and dogs unless otherwise noted. They are vaccinated, wormed, flea and ear mite treated. We try to spay/neuter before adoption if we are able. If not, you are responsible to do so. We require a reference from your vet and landlord if you rent. Meet & greets are held at our vet's office. We do not have a shelter. All of our available cats are fostered in private homes. We know the personality of each & every cat. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption for any animal at our discretion. We are also on PetFinder.com & AdoptAPet.com. Once you are approved for adoption, a $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your new cat/kitten. Adoption fees are $125 or $150 subject to change at our discretion.
