- Dr. Erickson was born and raised right here in Billings, MT!
- After working in both human medicine and vet medicine, Dr. Erickson discovered her true passion is advocating for animals and working with owners to help strengthen the bond they share with their fur kids.
-After graduating vet school, Dr. Erickson spent three and half years working at a local general practice and emergency clinic. This is where her fire for emergency and critical care was ignited. From there Dr. Erickson spent a year and a half working with three critical care specialists in Wisconsin. This experience allowed her to build confidence working with critical cases. For the next 4 years Dr. Erickson worked as a traveling emergency vet for clinics in Washington D.C., Phoenix, AZ, and Bellevue, WA. going to various hospitals in the country.
-Did we mention that Dr. Erickson is the sole owner of Clarity Animal Hospital? Clarity is an open concept emergency animal hospital and strives to make their patients as comfortable as possible during their visit. This includes keeping the pet with their owner through as much of the process as possible. They draw blood, place intravenous catheters and even stabilize critical cases with the owners by their side. Dr. Erickson built this hospital to be able to provide superior patient care, provide a calm and safe environment for pets and clients, and create a positive culture for employees to work in.
- Dr. Erickson’s free time is filled with kids' sports activities and spending time with her husband, 3 dogs and 1 cat. (Fun fact: Dr. Erickson graduated high school with her husband but they didn't meet each other until their first date!)
-You can find Dr. Erickson running or strength training to relieve stress.
- Hot Tamales? Dr. Erickson loves them! So does her 13.5 year old dog, Tye.
-Dr. Erickson has an adventurous spirt. She has summited Granite Peak here in Montana. However, Dr. Erickson’s best trip of her life is when she spent a month backpacking alone through New Zealand.
