I offer my best wishes to all on this Mother's Day. I trust you had a wonderful time celebrating and are now enjoying a relaxing day with family. I was busy gardening and my husband is installing a drip system irrigation for the raised beds. I unfortunately, ended up with a sunburn.

Thursday at 9:00 a.m. went out to assess the driveway to see if I could drive down it.

Well we tried to pull the van out of the garage it slid out of the garage. We went sliding about halfway down the driveway called it quits.

I hope everybody's staying safe and staying warm. Unfortunately I cannot pull my van out of the garage it is just too dangerous the whole area is just a solid sheet of ice down to the road.

We made Headway on our driveway. We're able to get a vehicle down our driveway now. The question is can I get back up?

We just went down to assess our driveway it looks like we're not going anywhere. Trees are still popping so not safe to clear.

I hope everybody's staying safe out there and trying to stay warm we were without power for about 8 hours. Thank you to all the hard working men and women to restore our power and trying to keep up on keeping our roads clear. Are trees are dropping like flies. Stay home be safe.
