Had a gem of an individual call me a f-ing liberal b #$ch tonight when I told him we would need to muzzle his fearful dog who was trying bite. Try me honey. I absolutely momed the f out of his behavior in front of his silent wife and daughter. People, why do you let your sons and husbands be disgusting pigs like this? Raise them better or divorce their pathetic asses. Signed an educated and strong independent woman.

Today's work email... 🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
My tween son called me saying his bike broke down, he carried it home, but he has some blank spots in his memory, has a headache and feels faint. And isn't sure if he hit his head or not... All is well, but I've for sure got some new grey hair! I cannot say how much I appreciate my clients! You guys always have my back for potential family emergencies and sick kiddos!

Get to know our Cambridge Valley Vet Staff-

Just for fun we have asked our staff some questions & will be posting them as time goes along.

Here are a few answers from Dr. Elizabeth Wheeler:

1. What was the last thing you watched on TV?

Terminator

2. If you could pick any job what would it be and why?

My independently wealthy fantasy is to have a Pottery Studio/Cat Café rescue with large lawns and gardens. All kitties would have handmade pottery dishes with their paw print on it to go home with them when they were adopted.
I would host afternoon teas, wine-tastings, and music events in the gardens.

3. What is the most unusual experience of your life so far and why?

When I was 19, I did a semester abroad- Semester at Sea by University of Virginia. It was a cruise ship converted into classrooms, and we went around the world visiting different countries.

4. What type of animal would your coworkers describe you as?

A Mama Bear.

5. What is your favorite season and why?

The Spring, when all the flowers come to life again.

There are so many diet options out there, I feel overwhelmed walking into the pet store. And I'm a veterinarian! I like diets that do research on their foods. We're seeing some new diet associated bladder stones out there.
