Show clipping Acorn felt like riding a bike today! He looks stunning and did fantastic for his first ever clipping. I take a lot of pride not only in the health & demeanor of the critters, but also their appearance. Prepping animals for show has always been enjoyable to me so I am no stranger to scrubbing cattle & pampering toplines with gel & hairspray before walking in the ring😆
I grew up showing dairy, beef, lamb, small animal & also took projects at the local Green Lake County Fair. Many of my fondest, core memories of summer growing up belong to those Fairgrounds 🥹🥰 I popped a few photos in the comments for those curious!
