* Our 2nd time showing at our fair we are incredibly thankful to our 4h family being patient and helpful as this was our first time showing poultry and first time ever bringing such a large show team! While it was an extremely hot day I’m so proud of Marivel for being showing 6 rabbits!! We were so happy other youth with our rabbits did well and recieved amazing comments too! From 5 different creme litters we had some good hopefuls show in open creme now let’s see how some of those do at our next fairs and show 🤞 we do decent! Well folks the beauty of creme puffs is how variation can still happen between littermates. I’m very excited for my golden girls off an GC Apollo daughter taken to open BOB convention winner Sirius. Let’s see how theses girls do in Fort Smith in the 2023 AR-OK State Fair Rabbit Show wish us luck 🤞 hope to see many rabbit friends! Good afternoon guys!
Heat index being in the 100s to weather 88 today we are getting posing time in!! As a basic rabbitry setup we’ve been building a heat hardy herd. With weights gaining, I’m happy there was no major heat stress issues. We’ve even had healthy and chunky kits born from mommas on 105 day. A photo of a young buck out of granded stock. Hey folks, I’ve been a little MIA lately due to the semester wrapping up, litters, and more to be explained in post following. But I’d love to thank Northwest Arkansas Rabbit Club for throwing a fantastic show, my own team was made of 9-11 week olds I loved getting opinions on them and getting their first show experience! Here are the results!
