💗Your Extra Time Could Save A Dog’s Life💗
Paw Print Rescue of Oregon is growing, and right now, we need some extra support behind the scenes. We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate person who has some extra time in their day and wants to turn that time into meaningful work helping dogs.
*This could be a great fit for a college student, stay-at-home parent, part-time worker, semi-retired individual, or anyone looking for flexible work in nonprofit animal rescue.*
What You’ll Do:
This is a flexible assistant role, and responsibilities will be tailored to the person we bring on based on their strengths, experience, availability, and comfort level.
Tasks may include:
* Coordinating and communicating with foster homes
* Reviewing foster and adoption applications
* Following up with applicants
* Answering questions from the public through our website, email, and social media
* Helping coordinate dog placements
* Assisting with organization, scheduling, and general rescue operations
* Taking on additional projects as your role develops
The list isn’t limited to these responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who can grow into the role and help wherever their skills are most useful.
📍Flexible & Remote📍
Much of this work can be completed from home, and we don’t require a traditional 9–5 schedule. What matters most is being reliable, responsive, organized, and willing to take initiative.
🎉Performance-Based Incentives🎉
This position will begin as an internship with performance-based incentive bonuses.
Rather than simply paying based on hours, we want to recognize productivity, initiative, and measurable contributions—such as applications processed, foster placements coordinated, follow-ups completed, projects finished, and overall support provided to the rescue.
As the role grows, there may be opportunities for increased responsibility and a larger paid position.
❓Why We’re Hiring❓
We’re growing quickly, and there’s a tremendous amount of work happening behind the scenes. In the short term, we simply need another set of hands. In the long term, we’d love to find someone who can become a valuable part of our rescue team. You don’t need to know everything about rescue. We’re looking for the right person, and we’ll determine together where you fit best.
If you have extra time, love animals, are organized and dependable, and want to make a real difference while gaining experience in nonprofit animal rescue, we’d love to hear from you!🩷🐾
