This is Sammy. During my time caring for him while his owners were out of town, I worked on some foundational training. The owners had previously struggled with getting a leash on him and dealing with excessive digging in the yard. However, I was able to resolve both issues quickly and within minutes, the leash training was solidified, and the digging behavior ceased entirely.

I focused on establishing clear boundaries and addressing unwanted behaviors proactively, either by recognizing early signs or by intervening at the right moment. Recognizing and addressing these behaviors before they escalate is key to success.

Additionally, I emphasize the importance of understanding and respecting a dog’s limits, especially when it comes to fear-based reactions. By patiently working through these fears, progress can be made efficiently, leading to noticeable and lasting improvements.

Starting this dog training business has been such an exciting and heartwarming journey. It’s not just about teaching dogs new tricks; it’s about building stronger bonds between pups and their humans. Every session, every wagging tail, every moment of progress reminds me why I started this. I’ve always believed that when dogs understand us better, and we understand them, we can make life together even more joyful.

I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to work with so many amazing dogs (and their awesome owners) already, and I’m looking forward to helping even more pups grow, learn, and thrive.
