Remember where you started

1 saddle with a brand nobody has heard of, two bridles, a correction and a snaffle, two saddle pads, one groom bag, no horse trailer, no truck, and some odds and ends that were gifted… thats all i had when i first started .

I remember when owning a Continental saddle was just a dream…. A dream that seemed so far fetched.

A young trainer with so many dreams and ambitions…

I now have, 30 plus bridle set ups, 12 work pads, 20 ish sets of boots, multiple groom bags, a full medicine cabinet, horse blankets galore, show pads galore, girths of all sizes, the truck, a 6 horse trailer, so many things i worked so hard for and now today I bought my third Continental… thats right, my THIRD one!!!

When you feel like you’re getting nowhere, just remember where you started!

2021 chestnut A Q H A, N R H A, F Q H R mare

Prim is now available for consideration. She is an excellent ranch horse placing top 5 in all her classes so far this year. She has limited showing as she was started late.

By a son of Smart Chic Olena out of a HD Continental chex mare.

She has all the maneuvers, green lead change, and a great personality. She does all the things she should as a show horse, with the looks to match, she demands attention as she comes in the arena.

Prim is a large mare standing 15.3h, she would also make a great addition to someone’s breeding program after a successful show career.

Link would be suited for a confident beginner, or someone looking to step up and learn the ranch/reining manuvers.

Darla... where do I start with this mare? She stands true to her name because she is an absolute DARLING and she absolutely does not need to leave my program anytime soon.

Im sure she has papers somewhere if you wanna go through the hoops of DNA testing with AQHA but at this point I'm too busy to care, you can't ride the papers and frankly I choose to ride her more then my show horses lol.

She was used on a working ranch most of her life, has barrel raced, been there done that type of girl. If you're looking for something safe and sane but has an engine this is your girl.

Darla loves to be loved on, loves grooming, bathing, stands great for tacking, self loads on the trailer, tacks up great, great for farrier, same horse everywhere she goes. I have taken her on multiple road trips and acts the same everywhere she went including on a wild goose chase to help a friends pony got loose and had to be tracked down.

If you're wanting a horse with lots of fancy buttons and collection she's not your girl but if you're looking for a companion and honest horse that rides good she's the one. We have been working on collection and adding some buttons but I feel she will enjoy a job where none of that is necessary. Trails are her jam and she does ride great in the arena as well.

Sister has been used as a speed horse in the past but has had some obvious time off. She knows the pole and barrel pattern but needs a good restart. We did take her to a small speed show about a week into her being in the program and she handled everything in stride and completed both pole and barrel patterns at a nice slow pace. Then came right out of the pen and let a timid 5 year old walk her around in the make up pen. She comes right back after a run. She also enjoys the trails. With some consistency we believe she will excel very well back into the job. A hardy kid or teenager would love this mare.

She has a scar on her right hip that is ugly to the eye but does not effect her physically and happy to show photos to serious interest.

Sister is sweet, kind and athletic. She is a hotter type horse but has no bad habits just forward moving and ready for her perfect person!
