For Mr. Handsome Bobansome ❤️

Last night before work something wasn’t right. We had to say goodbye to Levi. 💔

Captain Levi came into my life as this tiny, malnourished, scared little beardie who didn’t know what to make of life. Somewhere along the way, that scared little guy turned into the biggest, most spoiled puppy dog. He loved his people, loved being held, and somehow earned himself the nickname our red nose Pitbull—because every household with a blue nose Pitbull apparently needs a red nose one, too. 😂❤️

Watching him grow from that tiny little baby into our big, beautiful boy was such a gift. He had so much personality packed into that little scaly body, and he became such a special part of our family.

He wasn’t “just a lizard.” He was Levi. My boy. My backyard explorer. Our little red nose. 🦎❤️

We are going to miss his goofy face, his attitude, his little personality, and all the tiny things that made him him.

Thank you for letting me be apart of your world over the last few years, Levi. You were so loved, buddy. More than you’ll ever know.

The warm forehead.
The wagging tail.
The unconditional love.
The feeling that no matter what happened that day…
they always had a best friend waiting at home.

A good family dog isn’t determined by breed.

It’s determined by responsible ownership, training, socialization, and teaching children how to respect animals.

Every interaction is supervised.
Every child is taught to respect animals.
Every dog deserves to be understood as an individual.

And moments like these remind me why it’s worth taking the time to build that relationship. ❤️

Meet the world’s best bestie. 🐾❤️

He’s got a block head, a teddy bear heart, and the presence of a king.

Dress up? ✔️
Playing dolls? ✔️
Endless hugs? ✔️

To him, being loved by his tiny humans is the best adventure of all.

Gentle giants like this remind us that the best family dogs aren’t defined by their size or breed—they’re defined by their hearts.

Your cat might be telling you they trust you more than words ever could. ❤️

Cats have a reputation for being independent, but when they truly trust someone, they show it in subtle ways.

✨ Here are a few signs your kitty feels safe with you:

😻 The slow blink – If your cat slowly closes their eyes while looking at you, it’s often called a “cat kiss.” Try slowly blinking back—they may do it again!

🐾 Showing their belly – A cat exposing their tummy is one of the biggest signs they feel secure. It doesn’t always mean they want belly rubs (every cat is different!), but if your cat happily rolls over and lets you rub their belly, you’ve earned a very special level of trust.

💤 Sleeping near you – Cats are most vulnerable when they’re asleep. Choosing to nap beside you means they feel safe.

🐱 Head bumps and cheek rubs – Your cat is marking you with their scent, basically saying, “You’re part of my family.”

Meet one of the coolest turtles around! 🌿

African Side-Neck Turtles get their name because they can’t tuck their heads straight back into their shells like most turtles. Instead, they bend their necks to the side and tuck them under the edge of their shell—pretty neat, right? 😄

Here are a few fun facts:
💧 They love to swim but still need a place to climb out and completely dry off.
☀️ UVB lighting and a basking area are essential for healthy shells and bones.
🦐 They’re omnivores, enjoying turtle pellets, insects, fish, leafy greens, and the occasional treat.
🧽 They can be messy! Clean water and a good filter are key to keeping them healthy.
❤️ With proper care, they can live 20–30 years, making them a long-term commitment.

Myth Buster! 🚫
A small tank isn’t “good enough” just because your turtle is little. They grow, need room to swim, and thrive with plenty of space!

He may be an indoor kitty, but that doesn’t mean he has to miss out on the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors!

Safe outdoor adventures can provide:

Just remember:
🐾 Always use a properly fitted harness or secure cat stroller/tent.
🐾 Keep your cat supervised.
