As many of you know, Kelsie — the heart and soul behind KH Rescue — has been in and out of the hospital, and her sweet baby being in the NICU has just arrived home and the challenges of a preemie at home.
Even in the middle of all this, her first concern is still for the horses who depend on her. 🐴💛
But while life has paused for her, the rescue hasn’t the horses still need to eat, vet bills still come in, and their care never stops.
The equine dentist is scheduled for next week.
Right now, every dollar truly helps — whether it goes toward feed, vet care, or simply easing the burden on Kelsie while she focuses on her baby’s recovery. ❤️

As many of you know, Kelsie — the heart behind KH Rescue — has been in the hospital, and her sweet baby is currently in the NICU. Even with everything she’s going through, her first thought is still for the horses. 🐴

The rescue doesn’t stop just because life throws us curveballs — the horses still need to eat, vet bills still come in, and care never takes a day off. We just purchased a full pallet of feed to keep everyone’s bellies full, and we also have a vet bill from Phoenix, who recently had X-rays done and is waiting on lab results.

Dentist scheduled for next week!

Every dollar truly helps right now — whether it’s towards feed, vet care, or just helping Kelsie keep things going while she’s focusing on her baby’s recovery. ❤️

Our rescue has a busy and expensive week ahead — but every single thing is necessary to keep these horses safe, healthy, and moving forward.

👉 Farrier care Tuesday: $445
👉 Teeth work tomorrow: $145 per horse (3 total)
👉 Grain: 2 more pallets needed
👉 Hay: A load of round bales ($120 each, $1,680 total)
👉 Coggins & shots last week on 4 horses
👉 4 currently in training + Able
👉 Spaz heading to training & Cali going into rehab Monday

💖🐴 Happy Birthday to Kelsie! 💖🐴

As most of you already know, Kelsie is truly the heart and soul of KH Rescue. She pours every bit of her time, energy, and even her own resources into saving horses that others have let down. Whether there are donations or not, she shows up every single day to make sure these horses get the love, care, and second chance they deserve.

Today is her birthday 🎉 Let’s show her just how much she means to us and give her the gift of peace of mind. Instead of worrying about vet bills, dental care, farrier visits, feed, and all the other never-ending expenses, let’s come together and take some stress off her shoulders and let enjoy her day! We also know that Kelsie was recently admitted into the hospital due to some pregnancy complications, something no mother or father ever want to hear, let’s show her how much we love her and pray for her and her baby!
