Since I have some asking about our 2026 plans, right now we have only one pairing planned to be born here. There may be litters born in other kennels or co owned litters as there are a few breeders who have dogs coming of age soon in the breed here in the states, so you may see us help with their placements and helping advertise their puppies. As for us though, the only pairing planned is with Yasmin and Emmett.

For those awaiting the Ford and milky way litter, it doesn't appear we will have puppies available at this time. She is either not expecting or she will only be having one or two puppies at the most. The other puppies available can be transported down the east coast at the end of this month for a very reduced transport price if anyone is interested. Transport will be around the 28th/29th. I will also be in the wi******er Virginia area the Saturday before Easter if anyone would like a puppy and would like to meet up there.

New moon and ozzy are being retired this month. We do have a few puppies available from each so these will be the last from them directly. I know some showed interest in those particular lines. If you have questions feel free to reach out. Text or messenger is quicker for me right now but if you need a phone call we can schedule one. Thanks.

Please note we are a bit behind responding to people as we had a death in the family this past weekend. After this week is over, we will get that caught up.

We do still have some co owned puppies to list (mostly girls). That we will try to get listed this week. It may be next as we do have family visiting and a funeral going on.

We did have someone comment on Saturday asking why the puppies are older that being listed currently. I have deleted that comment but figured i would address it. We have had waitlists in the past but we do not charge to be on it. First and foremost we are preserving a breed. Therefore, we plan pairings for preservation (yes the last litter born here was an accident and we were completely honest with that fact. My sister was battling cancer and i completely missed the heats as she was a bigger priority. Unfortunately she lost that battle this psst weekend). Breeders wanting to continue the lines then have priority. We understand things happen people get impatient on waiting for puppies and get a different breed, have a change in their lives etc and that prevents them from getting a puppy when we have them available. Or it's simply they have a certain look they want or temperament they need. We would rather people be ready and prepared for the puppies and that we place the right puppy in the right home. I am not about placing puppies right at 8 weeks. If you have reserved one and get it at 8 weeks great, if not they stay. That's not my priority. I'm not in a rush to push them out the door. If that's the breeder you want, then that's not me. However a lot of the current available were co bred litters being evaluated and being decided on for preservation purposes. Our Story

We fell in love with the Yakutian Laika breed purely by accident. Many people have seen a picture of a gorgeous male Yakutian Laika named Talan but have mistaken him as a Siberian husky. At the time that we saw his picture, we were raising Siberians ourselves. Well, he melted our heart and we looked into the breed more. When we found out they were being recognized by AKC as a Foundation breed, we decided it was time to add one to our family. Marina found a breeder with beautiful dogs with the right structure and temperament that we wanted and Bakkari was reserved to come to the US and be a part of our family. She arrived in July of 2019 and was everything we could have hoped for and more. She was the best ambassador we could have gotten for the breed. Later we found out that Bakkari is actually the granddaughter of the dog that made us fall in love with Yakutians, Talan. We were thrilled when we discovered this.

Well, we could not stop with just having one so 3 months later, we got Chance. Chance came to us in October from a friend in the states. His sire is the first Yakutian Laika to receive a certificate of merit from AKC. In February 2020, we added Chance’s half sister, Libby to our family.

These three have been everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful, intelligent, and loyal. They went to their first show in February 2020 where they all received their national and international champion titles. Libby even got a reserve best in show puppy her first day of showing and a best in show puppy her second day. We couldn’t be more proud of this little girl.
