My favorite thing in the morning is my little slice of me time where I can sip on my coffee and stroll the flower fields before my son gets up. Some mornings I harvest what is ready and some mornings like today I just get admire the beauty of what is beginning to bloom. So unbelievably thankful for this little slice of heaven in our own backyard and I figured why not share it with you all! 🌸

As we roll into August, our due date is fast approaching — our baby girl is set to arrive Aug 22nd, which puts me at 37 weeks this Saturday!

We’re hoping for a few more weeks together before she makes her big entrance, but babies write their own schedules! Until then, you’ll find us at our regular markets and the Farmstand will be open Friday–Sunday as usual.

Once she decides it’s time, we may need to step back from a market or two, but we’ll be sure to let you all know right away. Thank you for growing with us this season 🌷

The flowers are really starting to take off and we couldn’t be more excited for their arrival! We are starting to get our dahlias in which is just the start of what we know will be the biggest harvest to date for them. We went from 30 plants to now almost 600 this year. We hope you are all ready for their beauty! 💐

Yesterday was a beautiful, but tiring day! We had a gorgeous cool day at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market for our normal Saturday market, but we also had our Bouquet Bar being rented for a wedding ceremony at Dow Gardens in Midland. Hubby and I had to tagteam the morning with him manning the Frankenmuth Farmers Market while I dropped off and set up the bouquet bar for the wedding. The bride had some beautiful words for me that once again remind me why I do all of this! As tiring as the day was, I was so thankful especially that I’m still able to be this active while being 36 weeks pregnant.

The Farmstand is open until 9pm today! There’s only a few left, so don’t wait to grab your bouquet today.

We are thanking God today for how beautiful it is here in Michigan! I’m loving the break from the heat, extreme weather and wildfire smoke. Which means we will FINALLY have a great day for the Great Lakes Harvest Market! This will be our first “normal” day of market where this isn’t threat of torrential downpours, extreme heatwave, or dangerous air quality. And we honestly deserve this for all that we have endured this first month! So, I’m so excited to see everyone at the market tonight! We have a busy weekend in store!
