Help is needed!

Yesterday was probably the hardest day I have personally had in rescue this year.

From the moment the day started, it was nonstop. Dogs getting neutered. Kittens getting spayed and neutered. Phone call after phone call for owner surrenders — dogs, cats, even birds. Messages about kittens needing placement. Found dogs needing picked up. Emergencies. Vet appointments. Supplies disappearing faster than we can replace them.

And in the middle of all of it, we had one of the hardest conversations rescue ever faces: behavioral euthanasia.

There is nothing easy about looking at a dog you love and realizing that despite every resource you can give, they may still be unsafe. It is heartbreaking. It is devastating for everyone involved. And it is something rescue workers carry quietly far more often than people realize.

Yesterday felt heavy in every possible way. The kind of day where the need never stops coming and you wonder how much more your heart can hold.

But today we wake up and keep going because the animals still need us.

Right now, one of our biggest immediate needs is KITTEN and DOG FOOD. We are absolutely overwhelmed with hungry babies and our supplies are running dangerously low. Wet food, dry kitten kibble, formula — every donation helps more than you know.

Rescue is not just cute adoption photos and happy endings. Sometimes it is exhaustion, grief, impossible decisions, and trying to hold everything together while more animals keep coming through the door.
