💔 A tiny life thrown away… but not forgotten. 💔

Today we welcomed another heartbreaking reminder of why rescue matters.

This sweet little girl, estimated to be only 3–4 weeks old, was witnessed being thrown from a vehicle near Sweetwater Donuts in Battle Creek. Thankfully, someone saw what happened, immediately stepped in, scooped her up, and got her the help she desperately needed. ❤️

She was taken to one of our amazing veterinary partners where she is now receiving care. This tiny baby is very thin, malnourished, and fighting a severe eye infection. Sadly, it appears she has already lost one eye, and her remaining eye is battling a raging infection. Right now, we don’t know what her future vision will look like — we are simply taking things one day at a time.

We have named her Aislinn (pronounced A-shling) — an Irish name meaning “dream” or “vision.” 🍀

A name chosen with so much hope for a kitten whose vision may have been taken from her, but whose dreams of a better life are just beginning. ❤️

Because here is what we do know…

✨ Aislinn is safe.
✨ Aislinn is warm.
✨ Aislinn is loved.
✨ And Aislinn will never be thrown away again.

One of our veterinary partner’s incredible staff members has opened their heart and home to foster her through this critical stage. Once she is stable and ready, she will officially come into Kitten Konnection’s care, where we will continue her journey toward healing.

Rescue is not always cute kitten photos and happy adoption days. Sometimes it starts with fear, pain, and a tiny baby who deserved so much better. But because one person cared enough to stop, Aislinn’s story changed today.

Her beginning was heartbreaking — but we believe her future can still be beautiful. 💕

Please keep our little fighter in your thoughts as she begins her healing journey. We will share updates as we know more.

Two adorable brothers. Two unique personalities. Twice the kitten love. 🥰

Alec and Austin are sweet little boys who have been growing, learning, and playing together — and now they are ready to find families of their very own! 🏡✨

🐈‍⬛ Alec is the curious little explorer with the cutest Manx-style tail! He is playful, friendly, and always ready to join his siblings and kitty friends for some fun. Once playtime is over, Alec knows exactly where to recharge — curled up in a warm lap for a well-deserved kitten nap. 💙

🐾 Austin is an independent, fun-loving little guy with the perfect mix of confidence and sweetness. He loves running, playing, and discovering new things — then finding his person when it’s time for snuggles and a cozy nap. 🖤🤍

These boys have been raised in a busy foster home and are already pros at family life:
✔ Great with other cats & kittens
✔ Comfortable around two 20 lb dogs 🐶
✔ Use automatic and regular litter boxes
✔ Drink from fountains or bowls
✔ Easygoing, happy, loving little companions
