Help needed! These 9 lab pups were orphaned last night when their mom passed away after giving birth to them. The young man from Slaughter who owned the momma dog is in dire straights trying to bottle feed them and has no way to feed them when he’s at work. He reached out to us for help. We, like so many other rescues, are overflowing but we cannot bear to see these pups pass away. We are asking for volunteers to take 2 (or 3) of them to bottle feed until we can either find a brick & mortar rescue who can take them all in OR until they are grueling in about 4-5 weeks. We will supply all formula and equipment needed to care for them but they will need to be bottle fed every 2-4 hours for awhile. IF you can help us please text Cindy at 225-252-3029 asap. 💚🎄🎅🏼ACE🎅🏼💚🎄FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! GOOD WITH KIDS AND DOGS!

He is so very sweet despite the fact that in his short life he's had nothing but bad luck. He's been abandoned, lost, abandoned and lost again, yet he loves people & is full of love. This last time lost, he hung out on a lady's porch for 2 weeks during which time he was hit by a car, but he's all healed now.

He gets along with all dogs large, medium & tiny! Although my yorkie mix snaps at him, he doesn't react! He plays rough with other dogs.

I think a cat free home is best, because he still chases cats.
He loves people & kids, balls, toys, running & running, and bellyrubs and is really smart!❤️ Ace is high energy but also loves to snuggle on the couch with his person.
He is extremely sweet, a total LOVE FEST, & bright, very eager to please. He is kennel trained and house trained. May need someone who's home a lot because he gets anxious if left alone too long, and might destroy his bed in his kennel, but he is a good boy in his kennel. Fenced yard required. No adoption fee, but home inspection required (outside).

His DOB is 10/07/21, he weighs ~60 lbs, neutered, utd shots, microchipped, & HW+, but already treated with Doxycycline. Now on flea/tick, & HW prevention.

Zuko is a people-loving big boy who’s looking for an active family to call his own. He’s about 3 years old and weighs 86 pounds.
After being found stray on the streets of New Orleans, Zuko had the good fortune of landing in a wonderful foster home where he has learned house manners and the joy of being a real family member.
Zuko’s foster mom says “he loves people, loves to play with tennis balls, and he LOVES ice as a treat! He is very food motivated and smart, so he is quick to pick up tricks and commands. He has been doing amazing in training classes and has already mastered Sit, Wait, Leave it (ignore), Walk forward, Turn, and Heel.”
Zuko is a big guy and would probably do best as an only dog in the home. He is kennel trained, neutered, up to date on all his vetting and preventives, and ready for his forever family to bring him home. This guy is looking for a furever home. He
is a German Shepard male between the ages of 2 to 4. He was found at a camp ground begging for food, water and attention.
He is up to date on shots and microchipped. He is heartworm positive but taking meds to get that healed. He is very friendly! He likes to hang out in the man cave with the men, follows the man of the house as he works on things. I am not sure if he gets along with cats but seems to be okay with dogs. He is a great leash walker!
