After careful consideration and even more reluctance I have decided to rehome 3 of our royal pythons. I will be fairly choosy about whom they go to, seeking homes with some level of experience/knowledge regarding care requirements. They will be rehomed with glass terrariums and reasonable fee for said supplies- to pet homes only, not for breeding purposes or to be crammed in racks. All were rehomed to us when the previous owners were unable to properly care for them and one overcame significant injuries (infected untreated burns and severe emaciation) after arrival. I will be taking photos and elaborating further in the next few days. Please PM me directly if your home would meet the criteria listed above or follow for updates as I get more information posted. Currently have a full time job and infant which is the main reason I have decided it would be in the animals best interest to find keepers with more time for individual attention for said pythons. This is a very hard decision given I have cared for most of these serpents for a significant number of years.

Mama Firefly and Jupiter . The second and third cresties we adopted in 2019. These guys are still fairly young when you consider my mom has one crestie who is pushing 18 plus currently. A massive problem in the pet trade is the lack of commitment for decades long lived species. We house 9 crested geckos and 7 of them were being rehomed at 2-4 years of age. The number of unwanted reptiles out there is depressing. We’ve taken in as many as we can reasonably care for.
