FOUND: FEMALE HUSKY
Found in The Colony in Bastrop

She is chipped, chip is registered in California and her name on file is Luna. Last time chip was updated was in 2021. Dog does respond to Luna.

Crossroads Animal Hospital is unable to share the owner’s information, but they reached out to the last registered owner and the microchip company has also reached out to them. Now we wait for them to contact us.

She seems to be recently groomed, well-fed, and responds to basic commands.

She is amazing with all humans, including children, and good with other dogs. She is, however, extremely excited and aggressive towards cats, which we have two of. Because of this, we cannot keep her long term. We’re hoping the owners come forward today, but if not, I’d love to find someone willing to “foster” her until her owners reach out and who would be comfortable keeping her if they never come forward. I’d hoped we could be that family for her but our two cats are used to our four dogs that love them, so having a dog in the house that is aggressive would be stressful and unfair for them.
