Barre Riding & Driving Club

Barre Riding & Driving Club We are an equine club serving central Massachusetts. The intent of our club is to provide equine activities and education to horse enthusiasts of all ages.

Barre Riding & Driving Club offers a show series, organized trail rides, gymkhanas and much more. As community service, we donate scholarships to local students who are continuing their education. Our events are held in Barre, MA at Felton Field, a beautiful facility that features two show rings, food booth, bathrooms, running water and plenty of parking.

For BRDC members it's that time of year again. The Barre Christmas Parade is Saturday December 6th. We are looking for riders, drivers or horses being lead, decorated in their best Christmas garb. Here is the cones course for the driving divisions at the Barre Show Series. Please walk the course before the class. The drawing is not to scale. Our driving judge is Karen L. Swanberg of Cherry Ledge Farm in Woodstock CT. I suggest drivers to arrive around noon. If possible we would like to run the cones course first while we wait for ring one. BARRE SHOW SERIES is Sunday June 22. Don't forget to get your entry forms in early and save money. You have until Friday to do pre-entry on line. If you use snail mail it must reach Jill Poulin by Friday or will not be considered a pre-entry. Weather is looking very promising. You can go to our website and fill out the entry form on line or download and print it out. We also have Venmo for your convenience.
