BANDERA EQUINE POSSE is a Non Profit group that works to Preserve the heritage of horses and the cowboy way in Bandera TX. Our goals are To partner with relevant agencies and authorities to identify, establish and maintain Equestrian Trail System. To recognize equine as a valuable asset to the community and to the visitors who come to Bandera to experience the western lifestyle. And to ensure, through education, the safety of equine and related livestock and the people who interact with them

Thanks to everyone that came out for our monthly Sunday Funday ride. It was pretty awesome having 14 horses tied up in front of OST! This is what Bandera is supposed to look like!!! A big thanks to The OST Restaurant for hosting us and providing the picket line for us to tie the horses to. We look forward to doing this on a more regular basis :)

Part of our mission at the Bandera Equine Posse is to help make Bandera more horse friendly. This is just another example of how we do that. In a partnership with Paniolo Winery, Garden Ornamental Design, and Equine Posse volunteers, we added a 45 foot wrap around hitching rail to the Paniolo Winery.

We are all looking forward to hitching up our horses this weekend to enjoy the wide variety of wines they offer. A group of us will be riding up for a late lunch on Sunday at the end of our monthly Sunday Funday ride. We look forward to seeing y'all there!
