We are so overwhelmed by the support of our neighbors- together, you all raised more than $1,600 for Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) during our 2 week Stanley Memorial Fundraiser round-up campaign. 👏

Still selling and shipping out pins and socks on our stanley swag web store! FYI, we only have 7 pairs of socks left- once they're gone, they're gone. Lots of pins left- 100% profits benefit AARF!

Thanks to all who have already purchased Stanley memorial swag, or donated via our online store- so far we have shipped out 36 socks or pins to fans both local and as far as California.

You can still purchase socks and pins in store, or have them shipped directly to your home for a small shipping fee. All profits and unused shipping funds will be donated to Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF).

FYI - if you place an order today by 4pm we'll get it in the mail today! Any order placed over the next few days will ship next week.

Hi Neighbors - we have started a memorial fundraiser for Stanley, the Canton Ace Cat. 100% of profits from the sale of any Stanley merchandise or funds donated will directly benefit Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF)​, the wonderful rescue that brought us Stanley. We know this nonprofit is special to many of you and would love to do what we can to ensure they continue to provide excellent care to their rescue animals. Funds raised will go towards vet bills for their rescues.

There are a few ways you can donate:

1) Purchase a Stanley enamel pin ($6.99/ea), or Stanley socks ($16.99) in store at Canton Ace Hardware and we'll donate 100% profits to AARF. Both products were made in the USA by small local businesses. If you're interested in purchasing but need us to ship, please send us a message and we will work with you to get your Stanley merchandise in the mail. Pictures of both are in the comments below.

2) You can also round-up your change or make a donation of any amount when you checkout in store at Canton Ace Hardware​ from June 24-July 8.

It's a bittersweet day for us and our neighbors; last night we said goodbye to Stanley, the Canton Ace Cat.


In January, we received news that Stanley had a late stage of cancer. We decided the best course of action was to treat his pain and make Stanley as comfortable as possible so he could continue to live the life he loved: greeting our customers at the door, meowing at anyone who walked by to coerce them to walk to his food bowl and give it a shake (he often would not eat until someone went through this motion, and trust us, he ate A LOT), and wandering the aisles of our store with a swish of his tail and his characteristic slink. Though we feel we made the best choice for Stanley, it's never easy to say goodbye to a friend. He was an essential part of our team, our family, and our community, and we are so glad he got to spend most of his life with us.

We are incredibly touched by the way Canton has cherished our dear friend Stanley; it's a testament to how strong our bonds are with each other and how unique we are as a neighborhood. We know all of you will miss Stanley as much as us. Thank you for being his friend, and thank you for being ours.
