These first generation captive born Southeast Fl locale corn snakes are starting to color up quite nicely. PM to discuss ππ
So, i recently had a conversation with a customer whom I thought was selling the adult he had bought from here as a baby and a potential buyer basically mocked his price and said βthis is what is wrong with the hobbyβ so i mocked his mockery; turns out I had the conversation reversed and he was the one not happy with the price, which i felt was fair, considering what it was and how uncommon it is to find one being made available.
First, if you havenβt left my page and unfriended me, Iβm sorry. I consider you a friend as much as a former customer. Soβ¦.awkward. Second, the price of colubrid snakes had really increased in the last couple of years, driven in no small part by worldwide demand. Andeans next year (if i even let any go) will be twice what i was charging a few years ago (still reasonable, my opinion), and the locale specific eastern king snakes will be more than what i paid for them, for sure. But i also have corn snakes that fit any budget, and i do strive to keep prices in everybodyβs price range.
Itβs barely worth the time and headaches for someone as βsmall potatoesβ as myself to continue to be a part of βthis βsideβ of the hobby. I do it because i love it, as much or because of the friends i make as it is the sales. But the good stuff costs a bit more these days, and the little I do make available i try to make sure itβs about the nicest βxβ you can get ππ.

This little black rat snake hatchling made it in to our basement, the second one weβve seen. The first was a small female adult my neighbors found in their front yard. We released her up into the maple tree out back. This one has eaten two thawed pinkies and has settled in nicely.
Should have babies available from this South American (Andean) milk snake for 2022. I raised and bred her parents, so just ask if youβd like to know her and her mateβs background/line info π
First generation captive born βPort St Lucieβ corn snake eggs are being laid today. They usually hatch in about 60 days or so π
