This courageous girl is on a quest for her happily ever after. Aspen, a vibrant 5-year-old, 21-pound bundle of joy, is overflowing with love, life, and playfulness. On Friday, June 10th, she bravely underwent surgery to remove her mammary tumors, and last night, her doctor shared the biopsy results, which revealed carcinoma. Our hearts sank, but Aspen’s resilience inspires us. Defying the odds, she has conquered numerous medical challenges, and though this time the odds aren’t in her favor, her doctor predicts she has up to 3 years left. Given her remarkable journey from a hoarding situation, overcoming a mass impeding her colon, and facing the threat of bladder cancer, Aspen’s final wish is to find a loving home where she can thrive with her own family.
