This good looking bunch had their 6 week shots, wormer, and vet checked today. Everything checked out great and they’re ready to meet their new people soon 🤍
Now the history on this litter that we haven’t shared much about.
When I tell you I’ve poured blood, sweat and tears into these…I mean it. We fostered a litter from a friend who was in an emergency situation and needed imediate help to keep his pups alive. I met him pretty late half way one night to grab the pups. I set alarms around the clock, syringe fed, bottle fed, cried a little, lost alot of sleep, and rotated 13 pups in and out on our mama girl for 4 weeks. Keeping mama dog healthy and all 13 pups thriving was a task. We ended up losing one along the way which was absolutely heart breaking. He declined over night after seemingly doing so well. This put me into over drive with these babies. I obsessed over them hourly and still do until they move on. But I’m proud to say that the other 12 are doing excellent! Our mama girl (Breezy) did the thing and handled it like a champ. Then a couple weeks ago, she developed mastitis after weaning the pups. It ruptured with infection a few days later. Antibiotics, a cone, and plenty TLC brought her through it. Thankfully she is almost back to normal and the pups are fat, sassy, and exploding with personality. Woo what an adventure!! But now you know where we’ve been-the vet and the prayer alter 🤪
In all seriousness-We take pride in doing our very best for our puppies. When I tell you it’s a full time job, I’m not kidding! And sometimes, it can be completely consuming. These are all spoken for and have families waiting to love them fur-ever. Just know, they’ve been extra spoiled and loved!! We can’t wait to see them grow up to do big things.
