A Serious Tradition "Pony" (Named because he has been a pony horse at the track)

Pony is the kindest fella you may ever meet. He is also extremely easy on the eyes. If you come to meet him, prepare yourself, he WILL steal your heart.
Pony is a lovely trail horse and has had many prior years ponying during morning works and afternoon races at Thoroughbred racetracks. He is the type that does well in chaos, and while he will ride out alone fine, he seems to prefer a group setting for his confidence. He had been a pasture puff for roughly the last year and a half due to my lack of time. He, has, now, returned to consistent work without hesitation. He does ride better on the trails than he does in the arena - but this is definitely progressing!
Pony is 10/10 NOT interested in barrels or speed events. He likes life in the slow lane. But, he will WTC. He two finger neck reins, has a great whoa, reverse, moves off leg etc. He does also lean on his rider for confidence and can be a touch sensitive/reactive to the oddest things, like random rocks that may eat him. With that said, he is SAFE and does not offer to buck, rear, kick, bite etc.
Pony will stand tied ALL day. He will park under saddle and stand ALL day. He loads/hauls amazing. He can live out 24/7, or be stalled, he doesn't care. He does, however, think winter is stupid and likes a stall/blanket for those 35 degree and rain type days. He does also work best in front shoes, but can be barefoot when not in work or turned out. Pony does not have any vices, injuries or issues and is the definition of easy keeper.
I love Pony. In a different decade of my life, I'd never offer him for sale. But, my b***y can only be in so many saddles and I am on the road an excessive amount in the summer months. He is far too nice to hang out and hope I have time for him.
Pony is current on everything for 2026 and is ready to find his lifetime home.
