❗️Oh it absolutely infuriates me seeing people out walking their dogs in this heat, it’s 29 degrees 😡

❗️Absolutely disgraceful, you should not have a dog if you think this is acceptable. 😒

❗️Your dog will not die from being left in the house for a day, but can going on a walk in this boiling heat! You try going out a walk with a big jacket on and bare feet and see how you like it.

❗️Also seeing posts of dogs being left in cars & people sitting on the beach with their dogs laid next to them all day?💔

Be responsible & look after your dogs, it’s total common sense. ❤️

⚠️ SEVERE HEAT STROKE RISK - Don’t walk your dog this weekend ⚠️

As temperatures are soaring, and we are set for a scorcher of a weekend ☀️….. we strongly advised at County Vets to NOT walk your dog this weekend! 🛑

The expected temperatures this weekend, even 5-10 minutes of activity outside for your dog could be enough to cause heat stroke! 🐕

If you NEED to walk your dog, please do so very early in the morning, around 6am for a light stroll, or after 10pm. Otherwise just take your dog out for toileting purposes only ✋

Keep your dog inside in a cool room with the blinds closed, with plenty of fresh water available 💦

Do not allow your dog to lie in the garden, even in the shade 🤚

If you do come across signs of heat stroke in your dog, call us immediately. 📞

When it’s too hot I offer pop ins, toilet breaks & playtime instead of their walks🫶🏻🌿🎾

Monday-Friday-30 min single walks available
(Morning between 8-11, afternoon between 3-5)🐕‍🦺

Monday-Friday-1 hour group walks(limited spaces)🐩

I offer single walks for doggies that are nervous, reactive or just prefer their own space!🐩

Group walks are great for the doggies to get socialising and having fun(limited space available)🐕‍🦺
