A Quick Personal Note
I don’t normally use this page for anything political. Whether it’s my business pages or my personal profile, I try to keep those spaces focused on work and community.
But this matters.
If you live in Missouri, please take a moment to call your State Senator and ask them to oppose HB 2641 and SB 904.
These bills would reclassify h**p under the ma*****na system and limit who can sell and grow lawful products. This issue was already addressed by Missouri voters. When the people speak through a constitutional amendment, that matters.
This isn’t about being against reasonable regulation. Most of us support:
✔ Age limits
✔ Testing and labeling
✔ Sensible strength limits
But shifting lawful agriculture into a restricted system controlled by a limited number of license holders is not about protecting children. Missouri farmers and small business owners are not the threat to our kids.
If protecting children is truly the priority, then let’s invest in:
– Education
– Teacher pay
– Updated books and school safety
– After-school programs
– Free breakfast and lunch programs
That’s real protection.
This feels like something that benefits deep-pocketed interests more than rural Missouri families.
If decisions about h**p are going to be changed at this level, they should be decided by the people — not redirected through legislative maneuvering.
