This has been weighing heavily on me but Work and Woof is a community based business and I know our neighbors need us right now. We are heading into a food crisis and I want to make sure I am doing what I can to give back and I’m asking for your help.
For the next 2 months we wil be accepting donations of anything you have lying around your home food or personal hygiene items. IF you want to help but don’t have anything at your home. the Central Texas Food Bank is accepting cash donations and they can buy food for pennies on the dollar so that is my #1 recommendation.
These items will get distributed to the local free fridges here in Austin that go directly to our neighbors and other organizations. I will handle getting the items where they need to go. If you would prefer to go shopping for items to donate that is wonderful but please keep this in mind: A lot of these items will end up in the hands of children who may not have a parent at home to cook for them so I recommend individual items or things a child can prepare for themselves.
I am taking information from the internet, from people who work in and around food insecurity but also from teachers who see what the kids in our community are going through right now. Thank you as always for helping us make the world a little less dark.

🚨🚨New Home needed: Hi y’all I could really use your help! Someone I love dearly needs to re-home their dog. He developed litter mate syndrome and needs to be in a different home from his brother.
Meet Shadow! He is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines, is house trained, crate trained, knows commands, LOVES dogs, people, kids and babies! He is a dream dog. My friend and her husband picked Shadow and his brother up when they were dumped and did a phenomenal job with him and they know he will be the perfect dog for his new family. They aren’t asking for any fees and I will be helping in getting him here from Oklahoma!
If you know anyone could be a good fit for Shadow please DM us so I can connect you with his current owners! If you can’t take in another dog right now please share, they are anxious to get him into the right situation! 💜

PUPPY CAMP IS BACK (almost!) - We are so excited to have y’all back! Starting next Tuesday, October 14th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 8am-12pm we will be working on polite manners, socialization and quality small group play time with puppies 3-6 months old! This is our 7th cycle and it’s one of our favorite programs! You can build a profile and sign up right away in Gingr, no evaluations required! If you have any questions please DM us or email us and we can help you! A few additional details:
- All enrollees must be a MINIMUM of 3 months old, and have their first round of puppy shots!
- For safety reasons, puppy camp is held indoors.
- We ask you to enroll a minimum of once a week to help establish a routine!
- Once they turn 6 months old they do not need to graduate
- We run small groups of 8 or less and it is supervised by Jill or Faith at all times
- This is NOT a substitute for training, this is an added socialization/play session to enhance self confidence and tire those puppies out!

Welcome to Work & Woof!

Adopting my dog Lucca shortly after I came to Austin was the most incredible decision I could have ever made. Her full of life, 24/7 energy is one of her best qualities but it makes keeping her entertained during the work day very difficult for myself. I wanted a place where I could take her with me, and while I work, she played but I couldn't find anything. So I'm building it!

Welcome to Work & Woof, Austin's first and only Indoor Dog Park/Coworking Space - our motto is "You Work, They Play". Grab a desk, and while you are working, one of our trained day camp counselors will watch over your pup while they play and socialize with other dogs in a climate controlled, fenced in area with toys, agility equipment and, even a nap corral! We will have all of the amenities of a traditional coworking space AND a dog park and the best part, it's BYOB. We are looking to build a community-based​ business highlight local artists, coffee brewers and more!
