Mounted Patrol International is a leading national organization dedicated to enhancing law enforcement capabilities through specialized training and expertly trained police service horses. Our training program is designed to prepare horses for the unique challenges faced by mounted patrols. We train service horses on various obstacles, expose them to gunfire, and teach essential self-defense techniques, ensuring their readiness for any situation. Mounted Patrol International offers a range of certification programs, including Basic and Advanced Mounted Patrol Operations, as well as an Instructor Course for those looking to lead and train others. Additionally, we provide refresher courses to ensure ongoing proficiency, alongside introductory programs in horsemanship and groundwork for those new to the mounted patrol field.

We are grateful for the opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to the Knoxville, TN Police Department and Ryan Morrow for their purchase of two MPI police horses to aid in crime prevention and public relations initiatives. The accompanying video demonstrates the rigorous training that MPI horses receive, as well as the experience that your department's representative can expect at our facility. We are dedicated to providing every horse with our best possible care and training. Our ultimate objective is to ensure that every officer returns home safely at the end of each shift.

Mounted Patrol International LLC's Jerald Sams and Cynthia Sparks had the exclusive opportunity to sponsor the “Spirit of the Cavalry” Award at the Combat Horsemanship Cavalry Association’s inaugural competition! This spectacular event was created with a vision to manifest a unified training environment that would bring military, law enforcement, and cavalry enthusiasts together to establish best practices. We were honored to present Bill Hendricks of the LA County Mounted Search and Rescue team with the Award, and we included a brand new MPI Defender saddle to go with it! Congratulations to all competitors! 🐴🚨
