๐๐ We know it's 2 days before Christmas but we have an SOS, y'all. With Austin going into Stage 5 restrictions today, we have received word that the shelter is not allowing ANY dog walking volunteers on campus beginning THIS Saturday. Volunteer access has already been limited and we are stretched thin when it comes to making sure the pups are getting the attention they need to not only ensure their quality of life but to try to help get them into appropriate homes. With the shelter once again at capacity, we have LOTS of dogs and there's just not enough qualified staff on site to work with them. This is hard on any dog but especially the dogs that already struggle with shelter life.

And on top of that, we just learned that Noodles needs a new spot to land too! We love this girl so much and our hearts hurt at the thought of her returning to live in a shelter kennel again - especially with these new restrictions.

We know it sounds like a broken record but we NEED fosters! While we have a handful of dogs that are doggy social, many of our dogs need those unicorn homes - no other pets and/or adults only. But as always, they will go home with tons of support from our Crew. We are always here for our fosters and our pups, ALWAYS. That is a promise.
