Help support the place we started our supper club!

From the farmers' daughter, Darrelle Foore:
While we're waiting for Do512.com to pick this up, let's go over some tips for 'How-To' City Council.
Maybe tomorrow will be your first time at City Council or maybe you've been to this circus before, but whether you're a virgin or a seasoned vet, here are some tips to really get your City Council party on right.
1.) First and foremost, show up, wear green, and sign in. We are item #67; farmers & farmers' daughters will be there to help those who look lost.
2.) Hug your friends, socialize, check out the latest art on display since the last time PODER dragged us up here.
3.) People watch. This is important for later when you want to play the game "Who Has Been Here the Longest?" Tip: note those with distinguishing characteristics or loud outfits.
4.) Now that you've completed steps 1-3, it's time for a beverage or a snack. First, check in with someone who seems to have an idea of what time item #67 is up, then head over to one of the several walkable establishments that support Springdale Farm and the local food movement. We recommend Swift's Attic, Congress Austin, La Condesa Austin, and Trace, just to name a few.
5.) You're feeling feisty, revitalized and ready to be political. Head back to City Hall and repeat steps 2 & 3. The art is the same, but you may be able to appreciate it in a different light after a margarita.
6.) Agenda item #67 is up and now it's SHOW TIME. Remember, we wear the white hats. Keep it classy, ya'll. This is our last shot, our final stand. LET'S MAKE IT COUNT!

In August, Austin City Council will be asked to decide how many events that Springdale Farm can have each year. Their decision will shape the future of Springdale Farm and Austin's food community for years to come. Springdale Farm is a working farm in the heart of East Austin. The farm is on commerc…
