We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Caroline Krall, the newest member of our team at Westgate Pet & Bird Hospital!

Dr. Krall brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for all animals, with special interests in small mammal medicine, anesthesia & analgesia, animal behavior, and positive reinforcement training. She has a particular gift for working with shy or nervous pets, ensuring every animal enjoys the best quality of life.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Krall loves traveling, relaxing at home with her two dogs, Carmine & Katia, her fish tanks, and the many retired lab animals she has adopted over the years. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 💛

It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.
