We are seeking FT/PT Pet Stylists, grooming assistants to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Pet Stylists in our salon are hired as W-2 and paid Hourly or Commission, if you make more than your hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

• Groom dogs and cats (grooming cat is preferred, but not necessary) with love, patience, and professional skills
• Provide good service experience to both pets and pet owners
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Finish grooming service in the requested timeframe
• Be punctual at work, and be responsible for given work shift

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pet grooming and able to groom independently
• Passion to help and pets and pet owners
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift animals up to 50 pounds
• Ability to groom 4-6 dogs in 8 hours

Work Environment:

The majority of job duties are conducted indoors in the grooming shop. Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time. Most of this partner’s time will be spent in direct contact with our customers and their pets and the remaining time will be with the other salon partners. The work environment can be noisy and wet.
