Meet our newest crew šŸ‘‡

Louie**:**
This handsome guy has been running the show at home—making the rules, calling the shots, and keeping his humans in check. He’s here to learn that leadership isn’t his job… and that life is a whole lot easier when someone else takes the wheel.

Bailey**:**
Bailey is working through some big feelings when guests come over. Lunging and muzzle punching have been her go-to, but we’re going to show her a better way—clear communication, solid obedience, and how to handle visitors with calm confidence instead of chaos.

Maya**:**
Sweet, sensitive Maya is here to build confidence and work through fear reactivity. She has a heart of gold, but the world feels overwhelming right now. Our goal is to help her feel safe, understood, and strong enough to face it without fear and teeth.

Heidi & Rosie 🐾

These two have been putting in the work behind the scenes since last Monday—and it’s way past time to introduce them.

Heidi is all puppy brain, curiosity, nerves and learning how to slow down and think instead of just reacting.

Rosie came in for resource guarding and fear-based reactivity—and like most dogs struggling in those areas, what she really needed was clear boundaries and consistent communication. Once that clicked, everything started to shift.

No more guessing.
No more rehearsing bad behaviors.
Just clear expectations and follow-through.

Together, they’ve been working on:
• Coexisting calmly
• Following through on commands the first time
• Turning down the chaos and building focus
• Learning that structure creates freedom—not takes it away

It’s not about perfection—it’s about clarity. And both of these girls are starting to understand exactly what’s being asked of them šŸ‘

More updates coming soon—these two are just getting started.

From anxious and unsure… to starting to settle. He’s learning to trust, slow down, and exist without the pressure.

New students this week

Higgins and Jaxx have officially arrived and are settling into the routine.

The first few days in a new environment are all about decompression, structure, and observation. Before any real training begins, dogs need time to understand their surroundings and what’s expected of them.

Each dog comes in with different needs, and over the next few days we’ll begin building clarity, confidence, and communication with both of them.

More updates coming soon.

Drop off with JaxšŸŒ¶ļø

Drop-off can be a lot for dogs entering behavior modification. New environments can be overwhelming, and when a dog’s normal cues aren’t getting the response that usually works, they may escalate and try new behaviors… some of those behaviors can be a little spicy šŸŒ¶ļø

When I went to transition the leash this morning, Jax let me know — in no uncertain terms — that he was feeling very unsure about the situation. Mom helped get my slip lead on and now the real work begins.

Jaxx isn’t the only new student here this week either — I have a couple other dogs settling in and learning the routine.

Over the next few days we’ll be introducing them, building confidence, and starting the work that helps dogs learn how to navigate new situations calmly and confidently.

Big world… brave girl. šŸ–¤šŸ¾

Sancy’s first public outing was a busy one — people coming and going, doors opening, coffee being made, conversations happening all around her.

Instead of reacting to the chaos, she practiced doing something much harder:
being calm.

Down.
Place.
Walking politely through the noise and movement.

For a nervous dog, confidence doesn’t come from avoiding the world — it comes from learning how to exist calmly in it.

Sancy handled it beautifully today, and this is just the beginning for this sweet girl. We’ll update on our boy Sunny tomorrow!šŸ‘
