Ani (now Missy!) Finally got to visit and see Santa's favorite Toy Store!! She also got to meet friendly costumers and old friends! Missy (I know it's been hard to find a name that matches her personality and that she responds to, but we finally figured it out!) This 16 pound Boston terrier / rat terrier mix is doing great in her foster home. She is ready for the right family to give her a chance...

She's a little Napoleon and has made so much progress learning to be a part of a pack! We think she is 7ish. Housebroken and crate trained! She loves the car, fetch, cuddles, adventure, and her alone time. Missy can go to a home with kids 10+ and with a compatible pup or two! She would prefer a home without kitties and small animals because she likes to chase! She is a birddog, a BIG personality in a tiny package.

Meet Ani! This Sunday, at one of Santa's favorite toy stores !! Come out and for the Howlidays & maybe fall in love with this 16 pound Boston terrier mix. She is a sweet little girl, who was saved from the Kill List last month through no fault of her own... She deserves a family who will cherish her, cuddle on the couch with her, and go on adventures to chase birds or meet new friends! She's cuddly, grumbly, and overall pretty silly. Ani did great meeting all her new foster siblings & at the this past weekend!

This lil Boston Terrier Mix can certainly go home with another dog, with proper introduction, we don't see any reason why not! Ani seems much younger than we thought, maybe closer to 6 than 9... this poor little lady still hasn't had any adopters step up... she deserves a loving family. She is totally house broken, and bonds really quick to those who give her some good pets. Please share Ani with a friend or share her with your social networks - she is only 16 pounds and we hope we find this little one a home before the Howlidays...!

Ani met Santa last night - she wasn't too sure about all Santa's helpers, she did a good job protecting foster mom from all the chaos- she's a little Napoleon for sure! Even though she demanded Santa stay at a safe distance, she was still able to make a wish...

Anise is 9 years old and 16 pounds. She is a Boston terrier / rat terrier mix who found herself as a stray being brought to Associated Humane Societies Newark now decompressing in her foster home, she is ready for her Christmas Wish to come true - will her family be found before the big day?

Adopt Anise! She did pretty good at work with foster-dad yesterday. She did a little whining and protecting of the office, but at 16 pounds and 9 years old, she befriended all who passed her intruder tests. She's very s***ky and silly - she will make a great companion, especially to anyone with an affinity for terrier breeds! We believe she is a rat terrier/boston terrier mix. She is 9 going on 3 - and loves car rides, walks, runs, birdwatching 🐦 and fetch!

Anise is very sweet & tiny! She's 16 pounds of s***k - at 9 years old, and found as a stray, we are left to wonder what her life's been like until now... but we know she is housebroken, knows sit, but will only do it if you have something to offer her in return 🤣 She was just recently spayed at the Newark AHS, and is recovering. Ani would love a family before the Holidays... she would prefer a home without kitties, birds, or small mammals. She can potentially go to a home with a compatible pup. We think gentle kids, 10+ is probably best for her. We believe she is a rat terrier / boston terrier mix, which means she has all the adorable quirks and tendencies that come with tiny terrier breeds. She has a sweet voice, and has only used it when she doesn't want you to leave. Ani is decompressing currently, but ready for a furever family or a foster to adopt home.
