Y'all! So I was reading on another pet sitter site that someone had hired a sitter for in home sitting for 6 days. When they returned, their house reeked of pot, their bathrobes had been worn and they had watched p**n on their TV. Mind you, this sitter was a 70 year old woman. 🤦😱 As a company (Sit and Stay Pet Sitting) who people hire and trust, this is abhorrent. I feel bad just having to look for a broom to clean up pet hair! It is absolutely unacceptable to go into someone's home and feel so at ease as to invade their privacy and charge things to their accounts. We don't drink people's alcohol, we don't go into rooms we don't need to, we don't wear people clothes (just why?) we don't go on their computers, order movies or worse, go through drawers or closets, (unless told to go look for hiding cats...lol), we don't smoke -anything- in people's homes, have friends over for parties, or do anything that someone without even a modicum of decency would do to make the client regret hiring us!
