Rosecrest Manor Farm would like to congratulate Margaret Ann LeGrand and Gundy Knos on the purchase of Pongo! Pongo is a large black and white paint pony that will be joining our family on Thursday. He will start training with us and learn the ropes of being a hunter show pony. He has a beautiful walk, floating trot, magnificent Canter and jumps square with excellent technique. Besides that, he is adorable! We are looking forward to watching him develop.

Rosecrest Manor Farm's horses and riders started out the show season at Horse Show Ventures this weekend with a huge success! Teresa Renee riding Commission for the first time at a horse show, swept their division with 2 Championships and 2 Classic wins!!! Laura Jo Shaw riding Galoubet Rouge also for the first time at a show took a Championship and Reserve Champion in their division. Balou with Brynn Pennington was Reserve Champion in their division. Nakato ("Sushi ") with Elyse Roberts (Showalter) is moving up in fence height and handled it like a pro with a first, second and third in the .80 and .85 jumpers. We are so proud of all our horses and riders! What a way to start the year!!!

As the year comes to a close, we would like to reflect on the fantastic show season at Horse Show Ventures. Every Rosecrest horse that competed consistently in a division won it! Margaret Ann LeGrand on the ever steady Galoubet Rouge won the Open Hunter division. Elyse Showalter on Commission won not only the Pre-Adult Hunter division, but also placed first in the Pre-Adult Equitation. Balou Van Schotten under the capable hand of Brynn Pennington took the Green Hunter O/F Division, and our remarkable young jumper, Nakato, placed first in the .75m Hopeful Jumpers. It has truly been a phenomenal year with our wonderful horses!!! It can't be said enough how blessed we are! Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on and has rooted for us! It will be exciting to see what the next year brings! Merry Christmas!

Rosecrest Manor Farm horses and riders had another phenomenal show at Horse Show Ventures at the GIHP this weekend. Our seasoned horses and riders: Elyse on Commission and Margaret Ann on Galoubet Rouge, both won Champion and Reserve Champion in their divisions. Our young horses continue to improve with every show. Nakato with Elyse won the 0.75M division yet again, strengthening their lead. Our young horse, Balou, with Brynn Pennington on board is realizing his potential with Reserve Championship wins in his division. Meredith Delp on "Leonardo" placed multiple times even though they had never ridden a course together in a show before. As always, we feel so blessed to have these wonderful horses who give us their all. Also, we are blessed with our wonderful trainer, She Who Must Not Be Named, who yells, praises and pushes us to strive to do our best. (Those of you who know RMF know who she is!) The first rider is Meredith on Leonardo; the second is Brynn on Balou, the first video is Elyse on Commission winning the Equitation and the second video is Elyse and Nakato winning the 0.75M Jumpers.

Once again a phenomenal weekend at Horse Show Ventures at the GIHP! Our little herd of 5 horses and riders all had a wonderful show! Champion and Reserve Chsmpions were won by our seasoned horses and riders: Elyse on Commission and Margaret Ann on Galoubet Rouge. Our green horses both had a phenomenal show! Nakato with Elyse continue to dominate the 0.75M jumping division and Brynn Pennington from our Sister Farm Pine Lane on board Meredith's young horse Balou are beginning to bring out his wonderful potential with Reserve Championships in their division. Meredith Delp on "Leonardo" did extremely well considering they had ever jumped an entire course at a show together before! As always, we are grateful for our wonderful horses who give us their hearts and trust. We are also grateful for our trainer, She Who Must Not Be Named, who yells, praises and guides us with her expertise to perform ever better! (Those of you who know us know who she is, LOL!) Rosecrest Manor Farm is proud of our horses and riders on our first horse show of the year at Horse Show Ventures this weekend. Every horse and rider was Champion or Reserve Champion for the weekend. Galoubet Rouge with Margaret Ann LeGrand and Commission with Elyse Showalter won their Classic rounds both days! Our young horse, Nakato has debuted his show year in the 0.75M jumpers with his first Reserve Championship; outpacing his closest competitor in the speed round by a full 5 seconds! We are looking forward to watching him mature and improve on his show path.

Rosecrest Manor Farm would like to congratulate Brynn Pennington and the riders and horses of Pine Lane Farm for a highly successful horse show at Newton County Horse Show this weekend. PLF riders were awarded either Champion and/or Reserve Champion in every division in which they they competed! Kudos on the excellent results for your hard and dedicated work!
