We’re looking for new homes! These sweet kitties are all in search of loving homes with the right families. 🐱🏠❤️

Guinness, pictured first, is a sweet girl that was brought to us as a young kitten with a tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. She didn’t let that hold her back though - Guinness is full of energy and loves to snuggle up to anyone who will give her attention!

Flossy and Dom, pictured next, are a bonded pair in search of a home together! This duo was rescued from a gas station parking lot and with some time and dedication would make a perfect fit for a family without kids!

DM us for additional details or call the hospital at (770)503-9080!

We wanted to share a special case to the Oakwood team, of a brave little kitten that reminded us why we do what we do! Sylvester came to us severely hypoglycemic with a very poor prognosis. Our relief veterinarian, Dr. Patel, saw the fight he had in him and refused to give up. Following hours of intensive care and glucose stabilization, Sylvester pulled through! We are beyond happy to see this little walking miracle thriving at home with his loving family! 🤍🐈‍⬛

The summer heat can be dangerous for our flat-faced friends! Brachycephalic breeds like Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs, and Boston Terriers are more prone to heatstroke due to their compromised breathing.

Here are some tips for your furry friends this summer:
🚫Avoid midday walks
💧Keep them hydrated
❄️Provide plenty of shade and AC
🩺Know the signs of overheating: heavy panting, drooling, lethargy, or collapse
