Gray muzzles, gentle souls, and so much love left to give🧡
November is National Adopt A Senior Pet Month, and we’re celebrating the pets who’ve got the most heart (and the best naps). Adopting a senior pet means:
🐾 What you see is what you get: their personality is already fully shaped
🐾 Many come house-trained and know the basics
🐾 Calmer energy and a cuddle-ready lap
🐾 The sweetest gratitude you’ll ever see (they know you picked them)
💡 Fun fact: Many dogs are considered “seniors” around age 7, but it varies by size. Giant breeds can reach senior status closer to 5 or 6, while small breeds often stay spry well past 10!
Senior pets deserve fresh, minimally processed nutrition to support them through their golden years, and every pet deserves a soft landing. If you’ve been thinking about adding to your family, consider checking out PAWS Atlanta, opening your heart (and your home) to a senior this month. 💛 Tag someone who’s a proud senior pet parent! 👇
