I have owned pets since childhood and have frequently taken care of friends' pets before I joined a local pet sitting service, where I enjoyed 2 very intensive years of experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, small furry pets such as hamsters and rabbits, and the not-so-furry turtles and hermit crabs. :) Pet sitting began as a temporary summertime job to fill out the down times in my career as a

professional classical musician, and it has quickly become another great passion in my life. My husband Roger and I have a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier mix puppy named Jodie and a wild and crazy Tortoise-shell kitten named Kia. We said goodbye to our beloved heart dog Callie at age 17 this January, and she is the inspiration for the name of my business: I know that pets are truly family and deserve the best care possible. Your fur babies will be pampered and feel secure and happy in their own homes, will enjoy daytime breaks and will enjoy company and playtime with me while you're away at work or on vacation!
