Hi everyone, I was contacted by Miss Avery who asked me to help find Finn a home. The following information was given to me by Avery. The original breeder could not take him. I wanted to share the information with my Aussie friends. Little Finn has been around the block and really needs a stable environment where he can settle in, thrive and give lots of love.

Finn's Bio from Avery.
We are searching for a special home for Finn, a 4-year-old purebred Mini Australian Shepherd (red tri). Finn is not neutered and has all his shots up-to-date. He came to us two weeks ago after being rehomed from his original owner.

Finn is a very sweet and affectionate dog. He loves walks, attention, and playing fetch or with his herding ball. He is potty and crate trained and knows how to sit, shake, and lie down. He has been around children and other animals. He is a great leash walker.

Finn struggles with anxiety since being rehomed and has been provided with medication per the Vet’s suggestion during his rehome transition. Recently, Finn nipped an adult in the face who leaned down to pet him, and broke the skin. He has not shown any other aggressive behavior, but this incident makes it clear that he needs a very dog-savvy, patient home—ideally with someone experienced in working with anxious or herding breeds. He will thrive best in a calm, structured environment where he can gain confidence through trust and positive reinforcement.

Unfortunately, rescue shelters are unable to take Finn due to insurance restrictions, and we do not believe he deserves to be euthanized for this incident. He is a good dog who reacted out of fear, not malice. We simply cannot keep him because we have young children and frequent visitors, and we no longer feel confident managing his anxiety safely in our busy household.

Finn deserves a second chance with someone who understands his needs and can give him the time, patience, and stability he requires. In the right hands, Finn could truly flourish into the loyal, loving companion he wants to be.

He was 48 lbs last week down from 52 when we first got him. Birthday is May 18, 2021. I should also mention he has been around dogs. Not sure about cats. He will come with his medications, food, dog bowls, toys and leash/harness/collar.

After speaking with a professional dog trainer, it is her opinion that this incident was likely due to him being anxious and potentially uncomfortable from increased activity and with management should be avoidable in the future. She is willing to offer two free lessons if the new family is within an hour and a half of Marietta or within 30 minutes of Dacula Georgia.

Please share this information with those that might be able to give Finn a stable and structured environment!

Great News!! Willow has found her new forever home where she is getting tons of one on one love. She is the only dog and has already secured her place on the couch! Her new family just moved here and hasn't really made many friends yet. I told them that when they take Willow out for walks or restaurant visits, they will meet lots of people! Willow will attract many new friends.

Hey Aussie fans, please share this notice!

I am thinking that there is a lonely person out there that would love to have Willow as their best friend and companion!
Maybe an active elderly person?? Or someone who doesn't want to deal with puppy potty training etc. She has been to obedeance school and walks well on a leash!

Willow is 5 and a half years old and moderately active. She loves the water, is very playful and would be the best companion on a walk thru the park! She has an appointment to be spayed and will be up to date of vaccines and heartworm test. She is very healthy. She has no health issues at all. Here is a Marty update! I is now known as Gully!! So he is living his dream! He has his own swimming pool to play around in! Such a lucky boy. I think that his new family is pleased with him as well!

This is Marty, he is a WaterDuck and is seeking a human that also loves water!

Hard to believe that Marty does not have his new forever home yet??! He is very sweet, crazy smart and oh so entertaining! He will be around 20 pounds as an adult, so he will be an easy little bundle to take with you on outings.

Check out this little cutie! This is Marty and he is a bundle of joy! He is so entertaining ..he loves water! He is playful, very outgoing and is very affectionate. He will be on the smaller size, I think maybe 18 pounds or so. He has the most interesting coat color, it just glows! He has so much dark copper!! And those eye brows... so cute!
Marty is in the Puppy Jump Start program and he is doing well with crate training, potty training and leash walking.
He is the last of his litter and needs to find his forever home!
Please share! Someone out there needs Marty to brighten their life!!!

Hi Everyone, these precious little babies are available. They are all females with sweet and loving personalities. They are toy/mini's that I expect to get to be around 18 #'s or so. They are 10 weeks old. They are doing well with crate training, potty training and leash walking. They can be registered Miniature American Shepherd thru AKC. They are up to date on their shots and deworming.
Please share in case there is someone you know who needs some sweet puppy love in their life!
