***SEEKING VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS***
The Atlanta rescue community is teaming up to support our trainer friend who has gone from having space for paid boarders to running an unofficial sanctuary for dogs with behaviors that significantly impact their adoptability. Some were abandoned by owners/rescuers, some were repeatedly adopted/returned and some just can't thrive outside of the structure and
routine provided here. Foregoing income, our trainer provides refuge to these dogs who would otherwise be put to sleep. Our plea is now more critical than ever as our trainer is undergoing chemotherapy, an added expense and a drain on the energy normally applied to our sanctuary friends. We're seeking donations for the typical dog care expenses as well as the loss of income for the trainer who now has no vacancies for paying clients. We're also seeking volunteers who are willing to get these dogs out to classes where they can exercise their minds and in some cases increase their odds of adoption. DONATIONS:

The greatest burden on a rescuer is feeling that we must put dogs to sleep when they're without options. This unofficial sanctuary has not only relieved us, but shown that rehab is possible for many who can go on to adoptive homes!
