🐾 Cooper the Pup reporting from the training den!

Today we did the puppy basics and I’m wagging my tail thinking about it:

Jumping: I practiced keeping all 4 paws on the ground, it was fun but I kept it short so I didn’t get too tired.

Chewing: I swapped old furniture cravings for tasty, approved toys. My zoomies approved this plan!

Walking on a leash: We did gentle leash work and easy strolls, me staying curious and you rewarding my good steps.

I feel your patience and praise fueling my focus. I’m learning fast, and I’m having a blast!

End note from my tired trainer: you look wiped, but I’m ready for more tomorrow. We both be tired in the best way. 💤❤️

Meet Coco 🐶✨

When Coco first started training, he struggled with boundaries in the home, constant mouthing, and some leash aggression on walks.

Here’s what we focused on:

🔹 Boundaries – We established clear leadership and consistent household rules. That meant structured door manners, waiting calmly for food, and respecting personal space. Once Coco understood expectations, her overall behavior shifted dramatically.

🔹 Mouthing – Instead of just telling her “no,” we redirected that energy and taught impulse control. Calm behavior = attention. Mouthing = loss of interaction. She quickly learned that self-control gets rewarded.

🔹 Leash Aggression – We worked on calm leadership during walks, teaching Coco to look to her owner for direction instead of reacting to distractions. With consistent practice, she’s now walking with focus and confidence instead of tension.

The result? A calmer home, peaceful walks, and a much happier relationship between Coco and her family. 🙌
