HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY! happy new year! it’s been a very busy first week for me so far.

here are some updates:
1. boarding: boarding for january is almost completely booked up— and feb is beginning to fill up as well.

2. overnights: my overnight priced are going to raise because it takes me away from home base/boarding.

3. walks: i have availability to add 1-2 weekly clients for walks and or drop-ins!

hey hey friends and family!

my birthday trip was amazing. i felt like i was in a portal being around those old giant trees.

since my return, i’ve had three clients cancel drop-ins/boarding somewhat last minute and that has inspired me to add a new rule when booking:

from here on out, i will be asking clients to pay a 20% deposit for booking inquiries. you’ll pay when you book officially and that sun will be deducted from your invoice. if you cancel within 2 weeks of said booking we will keep the deposit.

i got the idea from other small business owners! if anyone has any questions moving forward please feel free to ask (there are no dumb questions).

hello friends!

story time: today i was driving down a main road in my neighborhood and saw this beautiful girl in the middle of said road. without hesitation or thought i stopped my car, hit the hazards, and asked her to come. she came very swiftly and hopped in.

after going home to get a leash and collar, i took her back to where i found her because she looks like she just had puppies and i wanted to make sure there weren’t any abandoned puppies nearby. once i was there a neighbor walked out and told me he witnessed her getting dumped out of a car and then saw me grab her.

backyard breeding is a horrific and a very common practice in atlanta, and it usually ends this way: mama dog getting dumped. it’s very sad and unsettling.

so for now, this mama dog is safe in my boarding house (because we have no dogs boarding tonight) and tomorrow i will take her to lifeline and see what options are available.

i’m sort of just posting this for a few reasons: 1. my schedule may be a little wonky tomorrow and following days while i try to navigate this 2. i want to bring awareness to this situation so that more people can start learning about this issue and advocating for the dogs. 3. reminding y’all to adopt not shop because of the backyard breeding and constant dumping, places like are completely overcrowded and cannot really take in any more dogs and give them the care they need and deserve.

wish us luck! she’s beautiful, smart, and sweet. and tonight she’s relaxing with AC, food, water, a bed, and bluey on the tv. 💜💜💜💜💜

Have I told y’all how much I love pitties and their bubbly/salty/sassy/sweet and INFECTIOUS energy? They are the best and I’m so glad i got to see so many today/this week, some boarding, some drop-ins, and some for walks! I love them all! 😍🖤
