-- Additional tips and signs to watch out for if your dog or cat gets bitten by a snake:

1. Signs of a Bite: Look for swelling, bleeding, or puncture marks around the affected area, along with signs of pain or distress.

2. Behavior Changes: Watch for lethargy, disorientation, or vomiting.

3. Keep Them Calm: If you suspect a snake bite, try to keep your pet as calm and still as possible to slow the spread of venom and seek immediate care.

Always be aware of your pet’s surroundings, especially in areas where snakes may be present like tall grass or rocky terrain.
