German Shepherds are being bred by people that have very wrong motives. Too many people are in it for the money and not the bloodline and this is causing some very bad dogs to be born that have bad tempers and fearbiters. A fear biter is a dog that has no confidence but bites only out of fear. A good tempered dog that is well trained doesn’t fear anyone and only bites/attacks when commanded to. You cannot get this out of bad breeding. So if you desire a good German Shepherd that will make a good safe family pet and or protection dog do your research ask for paperwork and do not ever buy a puppy without seeing the parents of that pup. Not just seeing them but ask to see them working on and off leash. Often you can tell how a pup is going to be by watching it’s parents. If you pull up and see a dog on a logging chain and it’s trying to get at you then my guess is that’s not the breeder you want to go with. Nine out of ten times it’s not the dog that’s bad it’s the owner. And the last thing is this. I’ve had several people ask me to train their dog that they have either gotten from me or bought somewhere else. I don’t train dogs I train people. A dog will always do what dogs do. If you allow your dog to pull you or always walk in front of you then your telling that dog he is the alpha and not you. People have to know how a German Shepherd thinks and how to be the alpha because they are pack dogs so it’s their natural behavior to want to be the alpha. If you can train your dog on a leash then training him to walk off leash is very easy because by this time you have established your roll as the alpha leader. Always praise your German Shepherd when he/she does something good and always take time to just let them have fun at the park or the lake or even at home. This will make an awesome pet and a better family member and with a German Shepherd at this point he won’t need to be trained to protect you and your family because German Shepherds naturally protect their families. I believe them to be the greatest animal on earth but that’s just me. Remember to always do your research before buying and it’s worth every penny to pay the higher price for a clear headed well tempered dog then to buy one cheap and it bite someone and you pay dearly in court and they put your dog down.

We have one of the most sought after German Shepherd bloodlines out there. Although the bloodline has both working lines and show lines we’ve managed to create a working line that is unbelievable. All the dogs want to do is work play and please. The Temperament is one of the best I’ve ever seen and as far as beauty I think they speak for themselves. Our pups have went on to do some wonderful things like K-9 officers Search & Rescue family protection which is the one I’m most proud of. EXAMPLE: my 9 year old daughter and I went to get some work done on my truck and we took Jerry Lee with us. Of coarse everyone was in all at Jerry Lee and he was enjoying the attention. People were petting him and just having a good time. The mechanic came out to tell us what he was doing but he had a large wrench in his hand and Jerry jumped up and gave a very loud bark as to say close enough. It wasn’t for me it was for my daughter. That didn’t come from training it’s just the way they are they protect the pack and his family is his pack. Once the gentleman put the wrench down he was good and petting Jerry Lee. I don’t know how to say in words just how amazing this breed is and with the way the world is going now it makes sense to protect your family with a less then lethal form of protection. A weapon that you can love and that will love you back unconditionally. PLEASE UNDERSTAND bloodline matters Temperament matters. With the wrong bloodline and or temperament that guy would have gotten bit. If your getting my pups or someone else’s DO YOUR RESEARCH.
